CASE SUDY: CREATE A DIY SOLUTION THAT SUCCESSFULLY ENGAGES LOWES CONSUMERS

BEGINNING: OBSERVING LOWES IN STORE EXPERIENCE

While Walking through Lowes I noticed a gap in the wall organizer market. None of the products in store improved the aesthetics of the room they would be in. The attatchments failed to create an inviting workspace environment, rather focusing on storage. Lastly, pegboards and slat walls were slightly unintuitive upon first use, and took some fidgeting around with to figure out. They weren’t always something that I figured out first try, thus I realized the motion of attattchment could be simplified.

AFTER THIS TRIP TO LOWES, OUR GROUP SET OUT WITH A COMMON GOAL IN MIND: A PRODUCT IN WHICH THE BUYER GAINS VALUE IN TWO PARTS, THE FIRST BEING THROUGH EXPRESSION OF CREATIVITY VIA DIY EXPERIENCE. THE SECOND IN HAVING A FUNCTIONAL END PRODUCT FOR DAILY USE.
