I surveyed 25 people to identify objects that they stored in or atop their nightstands

3 distinct storage space types were identified based on Frequency of Use and Intended Visibility for items commonly stored in/on nightstands,

Visually break down hierarchy of zones 1-3 / other key decisions like: Vacuum space, top surface height, dowel joinery.
